In the picture the Sargon model of the cruis ship Odyssey, last-born of the Seabourn fleet: length overall 198,15m, total height 41.4m, maximum width 26m. Number of decks: 12, displacement 17760t. Pax: 450. Cruise speed 19 knots. The model, created in Sargon and transferred to NE Nastran has been used for the checks of the ship under design wave and for RINA classification. The model has been prepared by Eng. Paolo Rugarli, Castalia srl, in behalf of Studio di Ingegneria Navale Nattero   using specific proprietary internal routines related to ship modelling and linked to Sargon (ship.dll). These specific routines allow, by using Sargon, a semi-automatic FEM model generation starting from an ASCII input file.
